Polyketting

It was high time to capture all the knowledge in a configurator, so that the employees with this knowledge could focus on their daily work.

'Experts in accumulation and conveying technology' - according to Polyketting's website. In other words, the company provides solutions for accumulation technology and production lines. The company, based in Zelhem (East Netherlands), had the problem that every order was taken up as a new engineering project - even products made in high numbers in series. So it was high time to record all knowledge in a configurator, so that the employees with this knowledge could focus on their daily work.

In the past, Polyketting built its own configurator based on a database, but it proved difficult to maintain. Knowledge capture options were also limited. Our configurator Merkato may now take over the baton and will ensure an ideal fulfilment of this role.

Polyketting

Merkato is very easy to maintain and makes it easy to record knowledge.
